Camp Rules

Kott’s Camp Rules
 
1. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

2. Speed Limits are 10 mph on the lane and 5 mph in the campground area.
 
3. Vehicle Parking / Watercraft / Boat Storage
a. Two vehicles allowed per lot, if space is available.
b. All other vehicles must be parked either in parking area by the fire lane or at the top of the lane in the boat parking area.
c. Please park at YOUR lot only.
d. No boats, personal watercraft, idle vehicles, or utility trailers are to be parked in the camping area at any time.
e. Storage is offered at the front of the park in the designated storage area.
f. There will be a storage fee to park boat and/or trailer in storage area.
g. Arrangements to park in the storage area must be made in advance with management.
h. All vehicles parked in the storage area that have not been registered will be towed at your expense.

4. Guests / Children
a. Campers are responsible for their own children.
b. An adult must supervise children at all times.
c. All minor children must be with their parents or at their own campsite by 11:00 pm
d. Campers will be held liable for damages caused by their children as well as their guests.
e. No playing in bathroom or fish cleaning building.
f. Make sure when leaving bathroom or fish cleaning building you turn off the water and lights.
g. Do not throw rocks or debris over bank into water area.
h. No smoking permitted inside the cottage.

5. Pets
a. Pets are permitted. (Not inside the cottage)
b. Pets must be kept on leashes, leashes must be held by a person, NO EXCEPTIONS.
c. Please clean up after them or walk them up the lane.
d. Uncontrollable or dangerous dogs are not permitted.

6. Campsite/Lawn Upkeep
a. Campers are responsible for the upkeep of their lot.
b. All sites will be mowed on an as needed basis. If they are not or cannot be Kott’s Camp will have your site mowed and a charge of $10.00 per mowing will be charged to your account.
c. Please keep lot clean.
d. Camp sites will be provided with the following services: One (1) fire ring and One (1) picnic table

7. Illegal Drugs
a. Using, possessing, selling or buying illegal drugs of any kind is NOT permitted on this property.
b. If you are caught using or having illegal drugs on the property your lease will be terminated immediately with no refund of any monies paid.

8. BFI Containers / Fish Remains / Waste Containers
a. All trash used while camping must be placed in the BFI container.
b. Large refuse such as refrigerators, couches, tires, and other appliances are not permitted in the container. Please make arrangements with management for disposal instructions.
c. Fish remains must be bagged and placed in small chest freezer located in the fish-cleaning house.
 
9. Campfires
a. Campfires must be burned inside a ring using only dry seasoned wood and be attended at all times.
b. Fires must be kept at a safe distance from any objects including campers and most importantly, propane tanks.
c. If you have problems with a campfire too close to your lot, contact management.
 
10. Management Rights
a. The campground or its agents shall not be held liable for any damages or injuries caused by ice, wind, tornado, flood, fire, theft, vandalism or any cause what so ever. Please check with your homeowner’s policy.
b. This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to the general public.
c. The management has the right to eradicate anyone whose conduct is considered improper and/or intolerable.
d. The management retains the right access to a campsite for its agents, law and safety officers for what ever the situation demands. 


Golf Cart Rules

Golf Cart Authorization Form and Indemnity Agreement

The Camper shall indemnify, save harmless and defend Kott’s Camp on the Lake Ltd., and its employees, officers, agents and representatives from and against any and all liabilities, suits, damages, claims costs or expenses that may be imposed upon, incurred or asserted against Kott’s Camp because of or due to the operation or storage of the carts on the campground, including but not limited to any accident, injury or incident involving any and all carts owned or operated by Camper, Camper’s family, guests or any unauthorized use of such carts by any person.

1. All golf carts must display lot number.
2. All golf carts and other three or four wheeled vehicles (“carts”) must be “roadworthy” and in good repair.
3. All carts must be registered by means of the lease agreement form.
4. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
5. Absolutely no children under the age of 16 are permitted to operate any cart on any part of the campgrounds unless accompanied by an adult. Renters will be held liable for damages caused by their children as well as their guests.
6. Operators must observe all traffic signs and posted rules of Kott’s Camp. The MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH.
7. Carts must be parked in designated areas only and kept clear of all driveways.
8. Do not drive golf carts in the grass.
9. Carts may not be driven after dusk unless proper front and
rear lights are operational.
10. Passengers of carts must remain seated at all times. The maximum number of passengers shall be no more than the number of seats available on the cart.
11. No off-road motorized two-wheeled vehicles are permitted anywhere on Kott’s Camp.
12. All power supplies for carts (i.e. batteries, gas, and propane) must be kept in authorized containers and handled safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
